The 2014 'S de Suduiraut' is a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, this classy Bordeax Blanc begins with striking aromatics reminiscent of freshly cut lime, apricot, lemon blossom and hints of dried mint. On the palate there are gorgeous flavors of orange rind, thyme, poached pear, Granny Smith apple and suggestions of starfruit all coming together beautifully. This has a marvelous texture and viscosity, as the weight on the mid-palate is profound. Although thius is absolutely impossible to resist right now, the structure suggests this is best for some short-term cellaring. (Best 2017-2025) - February, 2017 (OB)
