The Château Léoville Barton is a superb showing in 2013, the fruit is ripe and concentrated and although a difficult vintage, things seem to have went right for the Château. The wine is already offering so much, it's full and layered showing remarkable depth. I really love what Barton is showing this early on. Yeilds were low throughout Bordeaux in 2013 and it appears Barton clearly went for quality over quanity. - June, 2014 (JD)
