The 2020 Chateau Benitey Saint Emilion Grand Cru opens to lovely aromas of dark cherries and currants followed by spices, tobacco, fresh florals and hints of earth and cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with beautifully fine-grained tannins that are well-structured. This is accessible today, however it should go on to develop some wonderful secondary characteristics over time.
