The 2018 Chateau Yon Figeac is outstanding. It displays a gorgeous dark color followed with perfumed aromas of dark cherries, blackberries and plums which come together with spices, gravel, tobacco and some loam nuances that all develop in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied, with notable overall balance and a wonderful polished texture that continues through the finish. This is delightful now and should continue to develop beautifully over the next few years.
