The 2013 Lapostolle Red is composed of 30% Syrah, 25% Carmenère, 23% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon. It begins with aromatics of ripe blackberries and dark currents which are woven together with bell pepper, tar, spring florals, loam, spices and tobacco framed by savory nuances all soaring from the glass. It possesses a medium-full body with a gorgeous round, plush texture which continues through the supple finish.
