PYREN VINEYARD Cabernet Sauvignon 'Broken Quartz' 2011

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the slopes of the Warrenmang valley, in The Pyrenees region of Victoria. The 2011 is a solid effort, which offers pretty aromas of cassis, crushed black fruit, raspberry, forrest floor, tar and dried flowers. On the palate this is soft and velvery with underlying acidity providing balance. Overall, this is a very accessible Cabernet that should be enjoyed now or over the next few years.
