The 2012 Bodega Caro is a blend of 75% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon which comes from vineyards ranging 3,000 to 4,500 feet in elevation throughout the region. The wine itself dark and brooding, offering intense aromas and flavors of dark currants, blackberries, mocha and cocoa with coffee and spices. Full-bodied, layered and voluptuous, this seductive red continues to deliver deeply concentrated flavors through the long, mouth coating finish.
