The 2016 'In The Rocks' Viognier is simply astonishing, and this Viognier is without doubt one of the best that I have ever tasted from Washington. The wine saw extensive barrel age battonage prior to bottling. The resultant wine opens with an incredible stony aromatics which come join with nuances of chamomile, nectarine jelly, white flowers and honeydew melon. The palate exudes class, with a gorgeous texture and exotic flavors of honeydew melon, pineapple, mango and roasted macadamia nut all weaving their way into the near minute long finish, which throughly impresses. Only 80 cases of this absolutely thrilling wine.
