The 2014 Adastra Vineyard Pinot Noir begins with an aromatic profile of black cherries, fresh raspberries, cola, followed by forest floor, mint and damp flowers all coming together. On the palate this possesses a plush texture with flavors of red cherries, dried spice, dark chocolate and pomegranate. The medium to full body coupled by its soft tannin leads into the long finish. Overall, this is an attractive Pinot Noir that drinks well today and should also be capable of handling some time in the cellar.
