The 2015 Larkmead Cabernet Sauvignon is a fantastic showing. This Cabernet is sourced from a mix of sand and clay soils in the Larkmead Vineyard. It begins with inviting aromatics of blackberries, red currants, roasted coffee, graphite and hints of loam, all taking shape. On the palate this is remarkably well balanced and structured with lovely underlying acidity keeping it fresh. This continues to impress as it shows incredible minerality and length on the finish. Made from 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, this is a beauty of a wine which can last decades.
