Tasted from barrel, the 2016 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is still about a year away from bottling, but it is already simply stunning. Gorgeous aromatics of dark cherries, black currants, violets and tobacco are some of the nuances already starting to show in this beauty. Displaying a deep, penetrating mouthfeel, and layers of ripe dark fruits which expand through the long finish. This could be an all-time classic.
