The 2016 ‘Rosso dei Notri’ begins with aromatics of red cherries, tobacco, spices and hints of menthol all taking shape. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a core of bright red fruits, earth and spices which are underlined by a lovely touch of acidity which expands through the finish. A fine value, but allow it another year of bottle age.
