The 2013 Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino is an absolutely sensational showing. Bursting with aromas of red cherries and raspberries woven together with spices, floral, porcini along with hits of leather and orange zest, which all soar from the glass. This is beautifully structured and refined, with gorgeous silky tannins and remarkable focus and restraint. Delicious red fruits continue to persist through the long, sleek finish. Overall, this is outstanding, and should thrive in the cellar for many years to come.
