The 2014 'Homage' is a barrel selection made by the talented winemaker Sean Boyd, comprised predominately of Mourvèdre along with 15% Grenache and 5% Syrah. opens with a ripe bouquet of black tea with anise and spice box. Nice acid marks this great wine that shows off spicy black fruits and a touch of pipe tobacco towards the back end. This is an outstanding effort in this warm vintage.
