The 'La Cigalette' is a gorgeous showing in this vintage. It opens to fresh, inviting aromas of black raspberries, plums, violets, spices, pepper and black olives all taking shape. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with a lovely velvety texture that displays beautiful depth and focus. Flavors of ripe black raspberries, dark plums and violets notes continue to build through the long, juicy finish. Overall, this is a simply fantastic wine which will be accessible upon release and will also cellar nicely over the next decade.
