The 2013 Barolo from Angeli Dorati begins with aromas of dark cherries joined together with spices, tar, floral and eucalyptus notes that fill the glass. On the palate, this is beautifully textured and balanced with notable depth. It continues to impress with it’s polished texture and long lingering finish, which is marked by cherry and leather notes. Drink this now or hold it for a few years and watch it evolve. (Best 2018-2025) - December, 2017 (JD)
