BIG TABLE FARM Pinot Gris, Willamette Valley 2016

This Pinot Gris is fermented on the stems and skins, and begins with a highly perfumed bouquet of rose petals, orange blossoms and suggestions of ripe nectarine. Refreshing and lithe, this shows off white flower, orange rind and starfruit flavors that connect with a light saline streak. This is a gorgeous effort by Big Table Farm that is delicious now and should gain some character with some short-term bottle age. (Best 2017-2022) - October, 2017 (OB)
