This Proprietary Red is an incredible blend of 53% Cabernet Franc and 47% Merlot from the La Mekerra Vineyard in Knights Valley and spent 20 months in 60% French oak prior to bottling. This captivating red opens with intoxicating aromatics of crème de cassis, coffee grounds, milk chocolate and sagebrush all taking shape beautifully. Plush, hedonistic, yet elegant, this impressess with its gorgeous mouthfeel and silky texture as the wine glides effortlessly along the mid-palate leaving behind flavors of crème de cassis, mocha, anise, spice box and sweet pipe tobacco which leave a lasting impression.
