This Pinot Noir from Tyler comes from the Bentrock Vineyard, a young vineyard, located on the southwestern side of the Sta. Rita Hills. The 2015 is a gorgeous wine, which opens to pretty aromas of red berries, crushed black cherries, exotic spices, smoke and floral notes. It has an elegant, yet supple texture with silky tannins and a spice-tinged finish. This is appealing now, and I expect it will only continue to gain complexity over the next decade.
