The 2016 Gemina is a blend of 79% Pinot Grigio and 21% Greco. As winemaker Dan Petroski points out there is not much Greco available in California and Mother Nature has not been very kind to it. With that said, Dan has done a wonderful job with Gemina in 2016. The wine has pretty aromas of citrus peel, spring flowers, chalky mineral, crushed stone and a touch of honey. It has a gorgeous texture with lots of citrus and bright acidity on the palate. Overall, this is a fantastic wine which can be enjoyed now or over the course of the next few years.
