The 'La Bauge Au-dessus' Pinot Noir is sourced out of Bien Nacido Vineyard and Le Bon Climat Vineyard, in the Santa Maria Valley. It takes some time to unwind in the glass, however once it opens there are lovely nuanced aromas of red fruits, spring flowers and dried spices, along with earthy aromas and hints of citrus zest. This is a medium bodied Pinot Noir with the potential for some aging over the next decade. (Best 2019-2027) - June 2017 (MD)
