The 2014 Tignanello is a total success considering the difficult and unstable growing conditions throughout the vintage. This fantastic blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon opens to seductive aromatics of blackberries and dark cherries woven together with graphite, spices, toast, spring florals and hints of leather, which all soar from the glass. Full-bodied with a lovely polished texture along with excellent depth and balance. Overall, the 2014 Tignanaello is simply delicious and already showing extreamly well, nonetheless I also expect it to continue to evolve over the course of the next decade as well.
