This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Hall's estate 14 acre vineyard, which is planted to Cabernet and Merlot. As this wine begins to open it releases aromatics of black cherries, pipe tobacco, tar, green olive and eucalyptus. On the palate there are delicious flavors of black cherry, anise, crème de cassis, wild blackberry pie and mocha with graphite. The silky mouthfeel and richness contributes this wonderful textural experience, as the wine captures the ripe, concentrated flavors from this great vintage in Napa Valley. The range of aromatics, flavors and textural experience is exquisite. (Best 2016-2035) - September, 2016 (OB)
