The Pinot Noir from Sanford & Benedict comes from some of the oldest vines in the region and it is absolutely stunning. It begins a gorgeous aromas of fresh red berry, bing cherry, pomegranate, earthy aromas with secondary layers of blackberry, and exotic spice. On the palate it continues to impress with a wonderful balance of fruit and acidity as it delivers fantastic flavors of fresh red fruits, tobacco and black pepper through the pretty finish. Needs a year or two in the bottle to soften and will be fantastic over the next decade. (Best 2017-2027) - May, 2016 (MD)
