The 2013 'Cuvée delle Vigne Niche' is a simply stunning single Varietal Etna Bianco made of 100% Carricante from vines ranging 20-50 years-old planted in soils comprised of black volcanic pumice, sand, ash. In 2013 the 'Cuvée delle Vigne Niche' shows a beautiful elegant personality with wonderful precision and purity. If offers striking aromas lemon zest, white pear, jasmine, vanilla blossom and wet stones which resonate through the wine. It continues to impress with its remarkable balance of fruit and acidity and brilliant finish. Today this is hitting on all levels, however old-vine Carricante can also age extremely well. Overall, this is a complete knockout effort from Marco de Grazia and should not be missed. (Best 2015-2025) - July, 2015 (JD)
