The 2008 ‘Bussia Mondoca Riserva’ Barolo is a stunning showing from Oddero, it brings an elegant and refined style along with incredible ageing potential. As this begins to slowly unwind the aromas of fresh strawberries, flowers, tar, crushed stones, licorice and mint all come together beautifully in the glass. It possesses a remarkable structure that is firm, yet wonderfully polished with a dazzling finish. Today, this is still holding back a bit and will certainly require additional time, but there is a long, bright future ahead for this beautiful Barolo from Oddero. (Best 2020-2035) - June, 2014 (JD)
