The 2007 Cerretalto is stunning. Displaying wonderful purity of fruit with complex aromatics of freshly crushed blackberries and ripe black cherries along with smoke, graphite and spring florals which round out the beautiful character. On the palate this impeccably structured with remarkable focus, balance and depth. This continues to impresses with its absolutely incredible precision and finish that seems to last forever. Even at this early stage this is already extreamly impressive, yet it also has the potential to age gracefully for many years to come. The 2007 is an truly monumental wine and there is no doubt it will become even more compelling once it hits full stride. (Best 2017-2037) -March, 2013 (JD)
