The 2021 Proprietary Red is a simply stunning wine that offers wonderful perfumed aromatics of black currants, black cherries, graphite, licorice and fresh violets that all come together beautifully. On the palate this possesses a plush, full body that is well-structured with big polished tannins, while displaying wonderful overall balance and concentration. There are layers of gorgeous ripe black fruits that build up to the long opulent finish which lingers on and on. This is a magnificent wine that is excellent today but should go on to age remarkably well for many years to come.
