The 2019 Woolsey Road Vineyard Chardonnay from Hertelendy is wonderful showing. It begins with a gorgeous aromatic profile of crisp Asian pears, pineapple and Meyer lemons which are laced with hints of honeysuckle and a lovely mineral note. On the palate this possesses a beautiful textural richness with outstanding overall balance and focus. It offers a rich, yet vibrant core that is laced with delicious ripe fruit flavors which are underlined by a lovely combination of acidity and minerality keeping it fresh and inviting through the finish. This is already drinking fantastic and there is no need to put this one in the cellar.
