LA PELLE Cabernet Sauvignon, Alluvium Vineyard 2019

This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Alluvium Vineyard, which is located in St. Helena and neighbors some iconc napa vineyards such as Spottswoode and Dr. Crane. The 2019 is a majestic wine that instantly begins to impress with its dark inky color and intense aromatics of blueberries and blackberries that are laced with violets, exotic spices, loam and graphite. The palate is just as impressive, as it displays an incredible full body that is dense, layered and incredibly structured, with big tannins that support its concentrated core, which pumps out tons of ripe blue and black fruit flavors. This is all wrapped up with a long, opulent finish that carries on forever and leaves behind a mouthful of blue fruits, warm exotic spices and graphite nuances lingering. This is serious Cabernet that displays incredible power and has the potential for 30 years of cellaring.
