The 2019 Beckstoffer Georges III is a fantastic showing from Boich Cellars. This immediately begins to impress as it releases it wonderful aromas of dark cherries, currants, tobacco, tiled soil, savory herbs, spices and hints of gravel. On the palate this possesses a medium-plus to full body with wonderful balance, and beautiful polished tannins that provide excellent structure. It continues to impress with its focused flavors of red/dark fruits, tobacco and dried savory herb flavors which persist through the supple finish. Overall this is a sensational release that is delicious today, however all signs point to an even brighter future.
