The 2019 Cantina Velenosi Marche 'Ninfa' is composed of a blend of Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah. It begins with wonderful aromas of red berries and cherries that are joined by a mix of spices, tobacco and and wet stones. On the palate this is structured around fine tannins and a beautiful silky texture which shows lovely finesse through the long finish. This continues to evolve with each second in the glass and I expect to continue to do so over the course of the next decade.
