The 2018 Donne Fittipaldi Bolgheri Rosso is a lovely showing in this vintage. It begins with inviting aromatics of ripe black plums and blackberries followed by violets, espresso and spices which all take shape beautifully in the glass. On the palate this possesses a full body, with remarkable overall balance and a long expansive finish. A fantastic wine to approach today, or cellar and watch evolve over the next decade.
