The 2015 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a appellation blend from 61% Martinelli Charles Ranch Vineyard and 39% Platt Vineyard. The wine has pretty aromas of green apple, lemon curd, starfruit, raw almond and a touch of honeysuckle. On the palate this demonstrates remarkable focus with lovely purity as bright flavors of citrus and orchard fruits are beautifully balanced with a touch of acidity as it heads into the delicious finish. Another simply delighful Chardonnay from David Ramey which is drinking well now, but can also be cellared for a few years.
