It seems like the Lucente keeps getting better and more sophisticated with every vintage. The 2010 is stellar, showing a dark brooding color and intoxicating aromas of fresh blackberries, dark cherry, vanilla, toasted coconut, licorice, violets and hints of spicy cedar. Pure, focused and balanced with gorgeous tannins and a solid structure. The finish is long and caressing. Composed of 75% Merlot and 25% Sangiovese. This is a serious value and should not be missed.
