The 2009 Chappellet Zinfandel brings lots of fresh blackberry and sweet cassis along with spices and white pepper backed up by pretty floral and crushed stone notes, which add another layer of freshness taking this wine to the next level. The supple tannins carry over into the long chewy finish. This is a great Zin! (Drink 2012-2018)
