The 2019 Wendling Vineyard Pinot Noir from Mojave Wines is excellent. It instantly impresses as it offers up aromas of wild strawberries, muddled raspberries, tilled soil, dried spice, and fresh gardenia flowers. On the palate this has mouthwatering red berries, currants, candied strawberry, combined with earth and spices. This is very approachable on release, it should also age well over the course of the next decade.
